Staff Inspection section
The Section will perform the following activities:
(i) Undertake monthly PE budget expenditure reviews and analysis of trends to ensure they correspond to approved budget allocations;
(ii) Undertake routine staff inspections to ensure effective utilization of human resources;
(iii) Carryout surveys, prepare and provide inputs in the preparation of report on the State of Public Service in the area of HRM and staff utilization;
(iv) Develop and operationalise mechanisms for institutionalization of accountability and controls of payroll malpractices in the Public Service;
(v) Undertake routine payroll and system audits for enhancement of accountability and integrity; and
(vi) Identify and advise on human resources systems.
The Section will be led by an Assistant Director.
