Objective

To provide expertise and services in the implementation of Open Performance Review and Appraisal System, Institutional Performance Contracts, Open Performance Review and Appraisal System and Institutional Performance Contracts monitoring and evaluation consistent with regional and international benchmarks.

Functions

The Division will perform the following functions:-

1. To design, develop and review Institutional Performance Contracts and Open Performance Review and Appraisal System for implementation in MDAs, RSs, LGAs and other Public Institutions;
2. To develop sector and national performance standards consistent with regional and international benchmarks to be used in implementation of Institutional Performance contract Systems and Open Performance Review Appraisal and Appraisal System by MDAs, RSs, LGAs and other Public Institutions;
3. To facilitate internal and external stakeholders to participate in Institutional Performance Contracts negotiations and evaluations in MDAs, RSs, LGAs and other Public Institutions;
4. To facilitate implementation of Institutional Performance Contracting System and Open Performance Appraisal Systems in MDAs, RS, LGAs and other Public Institutions;
5. To process Institutional performance contract appeals from MDAs, RSs, LGAs and other Public Institutions;
6. To conduct studies and researches on the impact of implementation of Open Performance Review Appraisal and Appraisal System   and Institutional Performance Contracting Systems in the public service; and
7. To organize annual competitions, awards ceremonies and events to declare results, discuss success stories and lesson learnt from implementation of Institutional Performance Contracting Systems and Open Performance Review Appraisal and Appraisal System in MDAs, RSs, LGAs and Other Public Institutions.

 

The Division will be led by a Director and will have two (2) Sections as follows:

1. Central Government Institutions Section; and
2. Local Government Institutions Section.
