This Division is led by a Director and has three sections each led by an Assistant Director as follows: STAFF DEVELOPMENT SECTION: - To initiate and develop training policy,
- To rationalise training programmes in MDAs,
- To coordinate and compile training statistics,
- To support all PSRP capacity building initiatives,
- To conduct induction courses for public service staff,
- Periodically conduct training needs analysis for public servants, and
- To co-ordinate, monitor and evaluate management and leadership training initiatives in MDAs
TECHNICAL COOPERATION SECTION: The section does the following: - It coordinates and facilitate the recruitment of non-citizens in the public service,
- It initiates and review recruitment policy for non-citizens,
- Provides inputs to bilateral and multilateral agreements and liase with respective ministries on the implementation of those agreements,
- Ensures proper implementation of bilateral and multilateral agreements of foreign experts, and
- To facilitate recruitment of Tanzania experts to bilateral, multilateral and Regional Organizations.
HUMAN RESOURCES PLANNING SECTION This section does the following: - It collects, analyse and tabulate manpower statistics and records,
- It conducts periodic surveys to determine the prospective manpower demand and supply situations,
- Develop basic manpower statistics,
- Forecast human capital demand and supply,
- Facilitate on preparation and development of succession plans for Ministries and Independent Departments, and
- Liase with higher learning institutions on human capital
